June is a crazy month for everyone it seems, and especially for those of us who have children in school. There is a never-ending stream of events and things to remember: end of the year picnics where no one brings the sunscreen and there are too many pasta salads, recitals of very nervous young pianists and ballerinas, and carnivals with their rickety rides and child-hypnotizing sugary treats. And oh, those end-of-year gifts for teachers and teachers aides and bus drivers--anyone care for a mug or a picture frame?
It is especially crazy here at Knot Sew Crafty HQ, because, in addition to all of the above, we also have my birthday, CMR's birthday, Auntie J's birthday, our wedding anniversary and now Baby K's birthday.
It's not that I don't love all of these momentous occasions, but I sure do breathe a sigh of relief on the first of July.
