this is fantastic! completely going to learn- thank you!

¡Muchas gracias, amiga! And yes, please... let's see some corners.
xo, Maiz

Well, most of them--not Soulemama and Anita Kaushal and Jane Brocket...

Thanks for the compliments on the house! I might try to do the "corners of the house" thing (was that what it was called?) that the divine Soulemama did a while ago.

"Little Heathens" is from your recommendation, and, in fact, all of the books in the column over there >>> are recommendations that I've gotten from lovely blog folks like you!

I just love your house. Love it. Love it. You'll have to start showing some of your loyal readers who do not live in the vicinity some interior photos because it is just so stylish and cozy and fabulous all at once and everyone should get the chance to enjoy it.

I see that "Little Heathens" is on your summer reading bar now. Have you read it before, or did my recommendation entice you? It is a lot of fun and chock full of incredible sounding recipes (though I might skip the homemade head cheese).

If I knew that being friends with you would be so educational I would have started stalking you much sooner.

PS - are you really listening to Yaz? Now I'm going to have to dig that out of my archives and relive my teenage years!

Eres muy lista, chica!

In answering your question about the CSA meat share, ours was set up through our church...but I think that you can find local CSA farms through www.localharvest.org. Our farm is here: http://www.localharvest.org/csa/M5067. In each farm's description/page they let you know if they have meat shares as well. Maybe there is one in your area that you can purchase a share in? You might also be able to find it through this page: http://www.localharvest.org/store/meats.jsp. Let me know if you have any luck! I'm so excited to taste our grass fed steaks!

  • Hi, I'm Alexis, wife of CMR, and mother of Beatrix, Willa, and India. Right now I'm not so crafty, but through my explorations of crafting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, gardening, printing, writing, photographing, and lots of other "ings," I hope to find my way to a craft that I love. I'm so glad that you dropped by. I hope you find something you like, and I hope you leave me a comment to let me know that you were here.
