Since so many blog-kids are going back to school now, I thought that school-related things would be a good theme for this week. I always loved going back to school with new notebooks and pencils, and new mary-janes and tights. Fall is still my favorite season, for leaves and Halloween and hot apple cider and wool wool wool!

Amy--I would love to have sound files pronouncing the words, but I don't know how to do it. Any help from you clever blog folks would be most welcome. It would also have to be somebody else saying the words, though, since I don't know how to pronounce the words myself!

Just today I was thinking back and wondering why I once started a Spanish course but didn't attend it longer than a couple of hours. Listening quite lot of music in Spanish it would be so nice to understand the words.

If I've made this comment before, forgive me. I would so love to hear you pronounce these words. Maybe a little .wav file on your wonderful blog? I'm awful with accents and languages.
I too love fall in this part of the world but I'm not ready to let go of our last little bit of summer quite yet. I'm off for a long weekend at the beach. Maybe a little salt water on my face and sand in my toes will help me let go and move on.

Fall is definitely my favorite season, too, for all the reasons you've listed! It's also when I most miss living in New England. K x
