The swine flu vaccine used in the 70's is not effective for the strain of swine flu we are seeing today. And, it is noteworthy that only one person actually died from the 70's swine flu while hundreds developed Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Thanks for the scare! There probably won't be an H1N1 vaccine this year! What I don't understand is why this flu is so much more newsworthy that all the other flu bugs that we hae encountered over the years.

That's the oldest, creepiest looking 55 year old man I've ever seen!

  • Hi, I'm Alexis, wife of CMR, and mother of Beatrix, Willa, and India. Right now I'm not so crafty, but through my explorations of crafting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, gardening, printing, writing, photographing, and lots of other "ings," I hope to find my way to a craft that I love. I'm so glad that you dropped by. I hope you find something you like, and I hope you leave me a comment to let me know that you were here.
