I had never heard of this brilliant idea until I saw it on Handmade, but it has apparently been sweeping across Europe. Citizens send in their complaints, someone sets them to music and a "Complaints Choir" sings them.
Anyone want to start one with me?
Helsinki Complaints Choir
How hilarious to come a across this thing here. I'm a Finn (Helsinki being our capitol)and I haven't heard this material before. I've heard about the idea, but never the action.

Oh my gosh that was freaking awesome!
Reminds of a section of the local yokel paper we got in Illinois - people could phone in their insane rants. It made for hysterical reading! :)

Alexis,
Thanks for stopping by Living Senses today and leaving a comment...I came by here once before through Jessica's blog...I think. Very cute little spot you have here.
The choir thing would be right up my alley...as a former choir director missing the gig a lot these days...maybe this is where I need to channel my energy!! Funny.
The fabrics I had laid out were mostly all Katie Jump Rope by Denyse Schmidt. A quilt from them would be just perfect!! Especially this time of year.
Enjoy your weekend.
