If I were a rockstar and CMR were a moto-cross guy and he treated me badly and we broke up, I would sing this song:
(It's a little vulgar, so if you're easily offended, just skip it!)
So What - Pink (official music video)
I couldn't be less like Pink if I tried, but man, I'd love to be her for one day. I saw her open for Justin Timberlake--I'll explain THAT in a minute--last year and she was amazing. Great performance and she can really sing.
Last year, with my 40th birthday looming, I decided that CMR and I should go see lots of different kinds of concerts, in an effort to remain open minded and stem the tide of fuddy-duddyness. We saw Justin Timberlake--who is very talented even though it's not my favorite music--and Pink, Robert Cray, the Pogues, the Marseilles Figs, Robert Randolph and the Family Band (see them if you ever get the chance--they are unbelievable live!), Madeleine Peyroux, Bruce Springsteen (whom I loved in high school), Suzanne Vega (whom I loved in college), and Dolly Parton (who doesn't love Dolly?).
It was an interesting year, musically speaking.
I wanna know what you think of the new Britney song/video

OMG how cute is CMR?????
Oh, and I think we saw our first BRUUUUUUUUCE concert together when we were "little" and I think we were so far away from him he might have been an ant.

I love Vega! Love love love. Gypsy is one of the most beautiful songs ever!

Thanks, CMR!
TPG--I think Justin Timberlake is amazing and very charming. During the concert, I just kept wishing that he'd sing better songs...

I'm commenting from my phone, on an airport tarmac in San Jose, so I'll be brief: in what way am I NOT a moto-cross guy? I mean, really? Also, don't you realize that the reason I love Pink so much - her brash, in-your-face, living life to the fullest on her own terms, super-sexy, super-talented persona - is because she reminds me of you? You can hide it from your readers, but you can't hide it from me: you ARE Pink! And that's why I love you!

i have an unabashed love of justin timberlake (only fueled by his hosting of the espy awards this year)... we just are who we are... that's what i'm accepting as i approach 40 (although i still have a bit to go there...lucky me). :)

I must confess that it was over a year and a half, and those were literally the only times we went out by ourselves--unless you count a cup of coffee at Noka Joe's!

I'm just mostly amazed at how many times you got out last year. I haven't even seen a movie since Quinn was born!
